at this point I want them to distance themselves from the original RE4 as much as possible, they probably realized there was just no way the feeling of the original could be recaptured, it is truly special terms of its pacing, tone, and gameplay, and there was no way they were going to recapture it trying to remake it, they're doing their own thing with this new version, the original will stay a timeless classic, this one will be more of the same of what we got with RE2 and RE3 remake, which in itself isn't so bad, they were fun games, highly doubt we'll be seeing things like the suplexes, quirky dialogue, and fun characters from the original, they want it to have the same tone as what they've been setting up with the other remakes, it will sell well
