Super Bomberman R destroyed a lot of my resentment towards Konami. All I wanted was a good Bomberman game for years and they delivered. I can wait longer for the next one, I know this song and dance by now.

Bombergirl actually looks legit kind of fun and well thought out but the payment method for it and it being japanese only really blows.
I bought R last year and I was shocked at how trash it was compared to Saturn Bomberman. Campaign was bland as fuck and multiplayer had a fraction of the content, it's amazing how far the franchise degenerated in comparison.

Bomberman had 3-6 games yearly, one game per generation is a far cry to what the franchise did in the past.

Saturn Bomberman is the best in the series by such a wide margin it's not even funny, the only reason more people don't know about it is because it was on the fucking Saturn.
Super Bomberman R is an awful game, I expected something like the SNES games, instead I got practically a badly written VN that doesn't even take itself seriously, I'm glad it's finally dying
