I tried playing this on hard (gamepass) and it filtered me by being boring and too hard

not ME1 but I had an escort blowing me once while I played ME2, it was not a good experience

Retard detected

Understandable, although ME games are only hard in the beginning.

But it does look pretty kino. What's so bad about it OP? The graphics are good, atmosphere is nice and the combat seems fun.

Why not throw a grenade or use an ability?

>enemies sit still without doing anything
>combat seems fun

You have to be a special level of retard to struggle on the Legendary Edition of ME1. Your weapons are basically all now insanely accurate and deadly laser cannons.

ME was widely regarded as a disappointment at the time. It was only all the kids playing it as their first wrpg experience combined with the hype of the sequels that changed things.

I don't think Mass Effect's combat ever blew anyone's mind, user

>Playing ME as a straight cover shooter

No wonder you think it's boring.

Trust me no one was blown away by this game's combat

I loved ME1 combat, fuck you. Biotic powers not being cucked by the shields is great. I liked the overheat system more than >thermal clips. I love ME2 but I think its combat is shit compared to 1. ME3 made the combat fun again thanks to all the explosions I could trigger with fire ammo and biotic powers. Also sniping those cerberus shield enemies through the shield opening with the geth sniper rifle is pure sex

Time to Play the first game again. I've never done anything that's not all guns basically what would be a fun way to go

Nobody praised ME's combat or gameplay until ME2 came out and improved on literally everything mechanically, but removed the flavor of overheating from guns. Then people started trying to revise history into saying that ME1 played better when in reality it was just that it had better flavour. ME was always a shit series too. Paragon and Renegade are shit systems that force the player into deciding their entire choice path through the game at the start by forcing them to either go all in on Blue or Red. Choosing based on the situation and flopping between what was appropriate at the time would punish you because certain dialogue options were locked behind a certain number of alignment points. God damn the roleplaying was ass in ME.

>atmosphere is nice
>copy pasted prefab room #23
lmao

No, the game was widely criticized for being janky. It had an interesting enough story and characters that most looked past the flaws though. The whole good/bad morality system was still relatively novel at the time as well.

>we copied Gears of War
>but worse
I remember the 7th gen of consoles yeah

pretty sure you are supposed to just run through this, the enemies keep respawning indefinetely and there's time limit for you to escape.

ME3 combat is fun as balls, it sucks that ME:LE didn't have multiplayer.

GO GO GO

on top of that there's now a headshhot bonus to our damage and immunity is gutted.

Mass Effect should have been a true RPG like KOTOR.
