Remakes/remasters that ruin the mood of the original game

Diablo 2 only because of the ugly character redesigns

I can't understand why remasters are always done by the most artistically blind people alive. Halo 2 Anniversary doesn't get it right either. Better, but still very off.

That is every remake.

Because they are never ever made by the A team. If you want the sole example of a good remake look at Punch Out Wii.

But it doesn't even take extreme talent to match an atmosphere. It just takes not being a retard. Nobody is expecting or wanting creativity or originality, they just want the same thing but technically more impressive.

When I first saw the "art" for the ""Definitive Edition"" I legitimately thought they were action figures being sold along side with it.

I'm hopeful for this one. It's Remedy doing it and Sam Lake is still there. I just hope they keep the soul in the graphic novel.

I have faith in Remedy. They've never made a bad game. Their latest engine tech is top tier.
