FUCKING STOP IT

FUCKING STOP IT

Optional simple control schemes like this have never done any fighting game any harm. You didn't see people thinking Xrd was ruined because you could use the Stylish mode, which nobody who actually was invested in the game at all would actually use. SF6 might have plenty of problems when it comes out, but this will be the least of them.

Get fucked retard, go die and suck on Satan's cock alright ? No amount of dumbing down will cause a better player retention and its only frustrating long term because you have less to explore and train like Strive.
We don't ask the fps player not to aim.
We don't ask the rts player not to macro
But we ask the fg player not to execution. Ridiculous. The Any Forumsermin casuals killed my genre.

How is there less to explore and train with by the addition of an optional simpler control scheme? Strive doesn't have that and it's a less complex game than games like Xrd and BBCF which do have that. It doesn't affect the depth of the game at all, it's just something that's there for casuals that will barely be touched by anybody else, without it lowering the depth or skill of the game for anybody using the classic control scheme anyway. At worst it just adds nothing to the game, it can't make it so there's less to explore and train.

It homogenizes skill levels, it cheapens optimal combos, it cheapens hype and comebacks.
Its the difference between a dj hitting play at a concert and a genuine one. Its the difference between instant gratification and committment. Again,
We don't ask the fps player not to aim.
We don't ask the rts player not to macro
But we ask the fg player not to execution

It's retards like you that's causing the genre to die. You can't adapt from your primitive and outdated control scheme of these 30 year old games. It's why no one plays them.

get fucked retard, you got into the genre with Strive and you'll drop it when your favorite ytber no longer likes it.

No it doesn't because, at least if it's like any other game that has ever had mechanics like this, you either won't be able to do optimal stuff with this mode on or there'll be some drawback to it like reduced health which will make it unviable for anyone actually trying to play the game beyond button mashing. Show me anytime that the Simple Mode of MvC3 made it so the hype was cheapened or the skill level was made homogenized, show me one time that happens with Xrd's Stylish mode. I actually can think of times where something similar happens in Blazblue when people use the Stylish Mode with Kagura, but the few times you see that it's often seen as more exciting and interesting because it's a different way to play the character than what everybody's used to.

People who have experience will still dunk on the people who don't.
And if smelee can be larger than ever by sheer force of autism then so can other games between better netcode, internet connections and the ease of creating communities.
You want the genre to live, be the change you want to see. Faggot.

its fine, honestly they should just dumb every fighting game down as much as possible for one iteration, then see how they still don't fucking sell and you dumbing the controls down doesn't help anyone at all

>Optional simple control schemes like this have never done any fighting game any harm.
shut the fuck up you absolute mongoloid, what kind of idiotic statement is this. every game with autocombos is, invariably, a distaster compared to its predecessors
how long before tournaments are made to stop enforcing real controls and allow one button specials? how long until lobbies are no longer given control over it and forced to allow it?
it's a dumb concept to begin with. the genre will not suddenly explode in popularity no matter how simple you make it, no matter how short you make the combos, no matter how much you speed up the game or slow down the game depending on preference. fighting games are niche, they have always been niche, they will always be niche, there is no escaping this and driving away your niche fans to cater to a mythical new audience you think will play is fucking retarded on every level.
do you know when fighting games were their most popular? 1. arcades, but 2. outside of arcades the era of like tekken 3 was when fighting games were most popular with anyone who wasn't a niche fan. why? because it had shitloads of single player content and game mdoes and unlockables, that is the only way you will sell fighting games to non fighting game players

I don't play anime fighters, retard. SF6 already has simpler controls and there's nothing you can do to change that. It's going to be in all future games forever and ever. Cope

>caring about esports bullshit
lol what a loser

>you either won't be able to do optimal stuff with this mode on or there'll be some drawback to it
Absolutely nothing on the website points to that. Pure copium.
>show me one time that happens with Xrd's Stylish mode
You don't understand. You'll have in addition to all that shit smash style specials and complete control over your character. This isn't xrd's stylish controls.

>Show me anytime that the Simple Mode of MvC3 made it so the hype was cheapened or the skill level was made homogenized
Show me people getting hype for a combo 6 years into the game in sfV just like sf4.

>No amount of dumbing down will cause a better player retention and its only frustrating long term because you have less to explore and train like Strive.
Strive literally saved the series after this dogshit mechanic ruined Xrd retard. Where are the babymode inputs in Strive? That's right, you won't find them because they put that shit in this trashfire.

True
>We don't ask the fps player not to aim.
Overwatch did
>We don't ask the rts player not to macro
MOBA took over at did
>But we ask the fg player not to execution. Ridiculous. The Any Forumsermin casuals killed my genre.
Casuals ruined gaming as a whole.

>Where are the babymode inputs in Strive?
Everywhere lmao they turned plenty of srk motions into qcfs.

The scenario you're describing won't happen since modern controls are completely unviable due to them not letting you use half of your normals and not letting you choose which version of a special you want to do

It still has SRK inputs dumbass, unlike Xrd where you just get Smash inputs and no depth.

Everyone is going to find this method the new norm and you can't stop it.

>which nobody who actually was invested in the game at all would actually use.
I did when I was fucking around because stylish mode Potemkin made pot buster a one button input, which was hilarious.

Stylish is different from the new sf6 system because it has no downsides. Strive is babyshit.

Strive is babyshit when it has actual real execution and real inputs while Xrd lets you do whatever just by mashing? I'm so fucking tired of you niggers ruining fighting games, nobody wants you here.
