Ages only, lol
Seasons is for fatties that love "LE ACTION", Ages is for people that are actually smart which is why it's puzzle focused instead of braindead.
Story-wise, you are supposed to play Ages first, then use the link code in Seasons
If I remember correctly if you played Ages first there was a map tile you could NEVER actually access.
my autism
Seasons to ages, but also this , seasonshitters make me cope and seethe even more than ds2fags
i had seasons and a buddy had ages. i beat seasons but my buddy couldnt beat ages so i borrowed it from him and beat it. i enjoyed the time mechanic and the puzzles in ages a lot more than seasons, but i thought seasons was better in every other way (including the girl)
>ages
>that town music
>the past overworld music
reminds me of better times
Save the best for last. Ages is way better because it has a bunch of different villages, with different races, and they all have present and past versions. Just a better overworld overall
I really love the whole atmosphere of the Past period in Ages. It's so grim and bleak. Everything's fucked up and underdeveloped
Seasons first, Ages second. Seasons is more like A Link to The Past, action oriented if you will, although it has some interesting puzzles as well. Ages is more like Ocarina of Time. Some puzzles are fucking annoying, but that's ok, the real bitch is the Goron dance - a mandatory mini-game that has a chance to make you go mental. Overall they're both great, finished both, prefer Seasons. Also I'd advise using a password generator so that you don't have to play the game three times total.
Did it have something to do with the pirates? It sounds familiar.
Yeah the OST always brings up some fond memories. Also, I love the scene where Link cheers up the depressed dude with a pantomimed joke youtu.be
Ages first then Seasons
didnt ages have a glitch where you could pick up a bookshelf and softlock kek
If they do a remake I hope they make it so you can go back and forth to both games once you finish one.
Nope, best solution is to link your ages game to a new ages games. No seasons needed.
Imma echo what most of the thread is saying with Seasons then Ages. Seasons is a good game, Ages is a very good game. I like Ages' mechanic, characters and story better. Seasons is a good game to lead into it with, and still worth a play
Why is Naryu cloven
Oracle of Secrets first
Ages was my first and i recently i emulated them both and had fun bouncing between games like that. Season had an ok gimmick with the rod, but i like how the puzzle mindset doesn't stop at dungeons in Ages and they are part of the game progression. In seasons that comes off with a zelda game most are used to, so to me it is less exciting to play the same thing again. Ages has action, but plays the pizzles more smartly.
Jesus I forgot about that Goron dance causing me to lose my shit.
I played Ages before Seasons. I enjoyed Ages more overall for the reasons others have already explained, but both were great.
If I could do it all over again I might have been better off playing Seasons first. Save the best for last and all that. Probably would have been a better experience to go from good game to great game and have that "holy shit" moment.
Soundtrack on Seasons slapped tho.
>playing both games
wtf retard no you're supposed to only play one game and then claim it's superiority to the other every thread.
