Having to use some elaborate button inputs to do basic attacks is a relic of arcades lacking buttons.
I thought fighting games are supposed to be about split second decision making on what attack to use not about autistically mashing buttons.
I don't get how anyone could be against this.

the simple low number of buttons is important, it lets you buffer inputs into other inputs for your combos and have more control to combo things that wouldn't normally be able to be combo'd because they would need to restrict them with some delays or some dumb shit instead of what people can input.

Smash has other variables at play, foremost in the form of stage layout. Street Fighter is a straight line between you and your opponent on all maps. What the fuck is Capcom smoking?

It has auto combos from DBFZ/KOF 14/15
These are completely optional and made for noobs, looks as if you use this style you cannot use individual L,M,H kicks and punches so will be at a disadvantage for frame data, footsies etc as you cannot use each of the individual move.

The single player and rivals you meet online are based on your experiences, so i assume it will auto matchmake people using the classic controls to classic and auto to auto.

They are trying to shill a "shared community" aspect to it and allowing real time commentaries to matches, I assume this is because how huge online FGC tourney got after the rona.

Looks as if the single player is a open(ish) world 3d version of a similar concept to mortal kombats deceptions RPG style single player conquest.

Controls have universal auto refresh bars (like MK11) that you can use for EX, parry, Counter, Crumple/blowbacks (like KOF) AND FADC

looks like there are supers like 3rd strike and SF4, as well as "cinematic" CA/Ultras. Seems at least from the info site ryu has 2 different supers and a ultra. My assumption is the 3 super bars means you do 1 of 3 based on how many bars you have

All in all they are trying to cater to noobs and online while not killing the pro scene or any of us who actually want to play neutral and footsies rather than just idle spamming moves like we are eddy goro from tekken 3

I like the artstyle and it suits what they are doing with the whole "street scene" and "be your own fighter" progress thing by making your char be a self insert street urchin climbing the ranks.

If it has a lobby type of thing that is like DBFZ but in 3d that makes me feel like it is PS home in a street fighter game I am forking down.

the special attacks are of varying degrees of dificulty depending on how strong they are
and super moves are just repetitions of the special moves a character has
just say you're braindead and lazy and want to play a generic fps for the billionth time cause you're too adhd to enjoy fighting games

The single player section on the site is a "more coming soon" so is vague but what I got from the 3 videos and the site is that it is a 3d world in metro city, so a 3d final fight game where you meet people, and fight in a 2d fighting arena.
