Thanks to the new collection I played the console version of PacMan arrangement, and desu it would be better if it was a tittle of its own instead of a """"remake"""" of the original game.
The levels have coom mechanics and I liked the bosses. With a better art direction and music it could perfectly be a great game

tbdesu that's exactly what it is, it should've been called something else. Kinda like how Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) is not actually a remake of Sonic the Hedgehog (1991) despite having the same name for some retarded reason. The only thing it shares with Arcade Arrange is the boost pads and rainbow block motif for the first map iirc.

Any recommendations on getting better at Mania? The opening stages are almost like a slog. They're so easy to get through but you move so slowly that its almost unbearable.

I wouldn't try to compare them since it's too easy to just pick Arcade Arrange and not appreciate anything Console Arrange did. Arcade Arrange is probably the most popular Pac-Man game among enthusiasts by a huge margin.

I'd also like the ability to for the arcade games to allow full use of all available vertical resolution. Seems kind of strange that's not an options when they already have other options that force the games out of integer scaling anyways.
