Real talk, is it really that much better to play this on Gamecube/Wii, or is all that hype just a meme and it's just as good on all other platforms?

It's a terrible game in the first place. Resident Evil ended at 3 then it turned into japanese anime arcade game with the RE logo slapped on it

>it turned into japanese anime arcade game
sounds awesome gonna play this game now

It's good with Fixes on PC, and i've heard good things about the Wii Motion Controls.
Just play whatever You have.

Steam version is best, specially with the hd mod.

3 was the worst classic resident evil and it was already moving towards an action game with that dodge mechanic

No not really unless you want to play it with the Wiimote which makes aiming easier. Really you're better off just playing the PC version with the HD Project texture mod.

The only bad versions are the original PC one made by Ubisoft, mobile and Zeebo. PS2 has the worst loading times and a graphical downgrade but is still playable. Every other version is good and the GC version has a slightly different balance.

Play it in VR. It turns a 10/10 into a 11/10.
