ITT: We post the worst localization dialogue change
What was the original line?
What did Edgeshart mean by this?
J games? sorry i don't play movies and im not a pedophile
You need to include both lines, dumbass. If you only have one we can't compare it.
ITT: I don't speak Japanese
OMG... she is SO attractive...
>Edelgard: それで、貴方は奪い返し……踏みにじり返せば気が済むの?
>(And will it sate you to steal back and trample us in retaliation?)
I really don't think the localization change is that far off. She's a cunt either way who is saying "bro just let us walk over you"
She won that argument actually.
Dimitri made himself out to be a fool by accusing her of things she didn't do, while on his last ditch attempt to flaunt his delusions of moral high ground. All the while dragging his kingdom into a war of little moral purpose, with a morally bankrupt ally, that the only thing uniting them is hate, for admittedly his own personal satisfaction. Rhea proved him a fool the second time when she burned his capital as soon as he was gone, an act of betrayal that was foreshadowed when they both tried to use each other as bait before the battle, ultimately dooming them both.
In the end, Dimitri was fighting for a vain cause that would become his undoing and Edelgard was right to point it out against his pityful attempt at moralising, like a child that is throwing a tantrum by accusing the winner of winning because it lost a game. After all, in Dimitri's mind this really was just a playground slapfight with her childhood friend, where winning is just a comfort to his mind, always troubled by grief for the past.
>accusing her of things she didn't do
Wat
Post the one where she is in the red xenoblade shirt and the tight shorts
Your argument collapses the moment you consider that if Edelgard had approached Dimitri from the start, he'd have been on her side and they could've reshaped Fodlan together
>貴方
lol
Literal ala mhigan logic of killing your own allies
Not that user, but Dimitri is convinced Edelgard, the Flame Emperor, is responsible for the Tragedy of Duscur. The problem with that user is that they're unable to read between the lines.

C support attained!
Dimitri believes in complete falsehoods and that's not even the worst of it. He belives in falsehoods and then refuses to listen to those he accuses of "evil" and acts utterly unhinged to the point he is willing to drag his country into a war he doesn't need to involve in (just like Leicester that remained neutral)
The dishonest griefters that never played anything except for AM refuse to post the full dialogue where he reveals the false reasons he acts like that though
Edelgard helped the true bad guys and attacked Rhea who did nothing wrong despite what humans did to her
But she is literally an idiot, all her information is wrong, and dragons are cool. And Dimitri is what he is because he's fujo bait. He even says the line.
Didn't she hire assassin's to kill the other lords?
Both Dimitri and Rhea tried to use the other in the battle as bait, betraying their supposed plan to surround the imperial army. They are both saying that they expected the other one to be attacked first. They distrust each other and their alliance is only one of mutual hate for the enemy.
I'm not sure why he's considered sensible in that route. He insists that Edelgard killed their mother which not only we know is false but he really doesn't have any reason to believe it. There is nothing that could connect Edelgard to Duscur, if anything he should be blaming Arundel if he did manage to identify him as Thales. The supposed connection to Duscur, in his mind, is made when he sees the Flame Emperor talk with Thales , but we know this scene develops differently in BE and Dimitri doesn't witness it. We know this because he doesn't actually say mad things in chapter 11 like he does in BL. I'm not sure if this is a pothole or not but there are other inconsistencies about Dimitri and the BL among the routes.
Also many of his former classmates if recruited will say that he is dangerous and irrational, "the tempest king" or "a monster" depending on who you ask. And Ferdinand of course who says his lust for revenge has made him unsuitable for a leader.
I don't expect any meaningful reply anyway, this game is 3 years old, if any bl player with honest intentions wanted to talk about it they would have played the rest of the routes by now

The meaning is pretty different. The japanese version ask Dimitri if revenge will satisfy him and imply he would go much further than just take back the lands that have been conquered (Edelgard's words).
Edelgard and the Empire only ever declared war against the Church. The rest of the nations in the country of Fodlan involved themselves.

>In the end, Dimitri was fighting for a vain cause
Not wanting to be conquered by an aggressive militaristic empire is a vain cause?
I guess we know where you stand on the topic of Russia's invasion and war on and Ukraine then.
Are edelsimps just ironic or through and through deranged?
Nope, all her infromation is correct, you are retarded and have no argument.
see here They didn't declare war on the kingdom until they invovlked themselves by inviting Rhea there
Whole game is filled with bad dub performance and text changes
What are you implying?
I love my wife Bernie!
