this game is about 6 or 7 years too late, I get the feeling this idea would have been a hit if we got it right after Sonic Mania but as always Sega has dragged their feet and Sonic will be nothing more than a joke, at least the movies are doing well, but when it comes to games Sonic is over
after Generations they should have gone to the drawing board and come up with ideas for an open world Sonic when they still had some talent left
Lost World shouldn't have been made and this game should've come out in 2017/18

just stop caring. it's a large multimedia conglomerate of an ip. they don't care, and will only care to a degree when they have to. it's not happening. the reason why the genesis and dreamcast titles were so soulful was because they were developed in a time in which development teams and the industry at large were smaller. these projects are too massive now. there's too much at stake for a game like frontiers, so they'll be conservative and appoint the same tired designers they always do. sonic isn't going to be saved. it just isn't. the sooner you accept it the happier you'll be. just be thankful for freedom planet and spark.
