I was really only kept up to date with what the Skullgirls people were doing because I was dating someone who was really into the game, broke up with her before Indivisible was released and didn't hear much about it afterwards.

It came out incomplete missing guest characters they promised would be in and the studio imploded before finishing it. Somehow they even got enough hype to have an animated OP by Trigger studio though.

Sales were mediocre, the game was incomplete, the basic gameplay was bad, and support was ultimately discontinued despite a year promising that wasn't the case.

It was a failure, sadly. I played the game with insta-kill trainer on, and it was a hell of a lot more bearable.

Maybe if they focused on the Metroidvania aspects, and made combat closer to an action game with autocombos ala FighterZ, maybe it would have been more fun.

That was more like the nail in the coffin.

Trigger actually put work into making it, like every other OP they've done. The slideshow is saved for the actual episodes.

should have copied FGO's battle system instead of copying Valkyrie Profile

no retarded hitbox autism, meaning the devs can balance the difficulty and damage based on number crunching instead of juggling endlessly

they can focus on animations than spending ungodly amounts of time on the battle system because of the hitbox autism
