It had a bunch of comparison shots between the original, the pc release and the version they were offering, with their own version being much closer in appearance ro the original.

why the hell would I be playing a gta game without a controller

well from my understanding probs the xbox version on og xbox. i think they got better audio, framerate, and some other things. newer versions run off some shitty port and also end up losing music. playing the original game on an xbox360 or xbone etc gets you playing an emulator where you still don't experience the real deal.

you can go emulator route if you want, but if you don't care about accuracy at all then just play the remastered versions

The game has bugs on all versions, even the new remaster, when it runs above 30fps, it’s just one of those games that has loads of its logic tied to framerate. You should be playing on controller anyway, it’s GTA, plus controller has analogue buttons/triggers.
