Why did Ellie leave Joel's guitar there? It's awfully unrespectful of his memory.

Neil is pretty dumb and thought it would be really impactful or something.
>unrespectful
cute
Because he was a disgusting WHITE MAN and she needed to get rid of his TOXIC MASCULINITY.
I knjow you're pretending to be retarded but acoustic guitars actually do need a certain amount of humidity or else they will start to warp.
she stupidly thinks she can't play guitar anymore anyway cause of her missing fingers. No one said lesbians are smart.
>letting go of the person who saved her life and cared for her as a daughter

>Any Forums cant even into simple symbolism
this board is truly retarded. all the meme shitposts are just a disguise for the fact that this game UNIRONICALLY went a mile over all of their dense heads
To move on. In an especially bitter way because the guitar was a symbol of better times. She fucked up, she has nothing now. But to move on is better than to just feel sorry for yourself
Because he’s a bigot sandwich
you would think the person that let their loved one's cold blood killer go free would be more considerate, right?
Where is Factions
because this game was trash and Jews can't write.
It would have been nice if the game would have ended the same way it started, with Ellie with Joel's guitar on his back carrying his memory. But no, it's like Druckmann wanted to disrespect Joel even in his death.
Ellie didn't deserve a happy ending after what she did. Not in terms of how I personally feel about the characters, but in terms of an impactful story. Finding some kind of closure and strength in the memory of Joel would have watered down the impact of Ellies bloodthirsty revenge arc
This could have lead to some interesting character development for her if they actually thought about it. Say she's so determined to learn the guitar that she creates makeshift wooden "fingers" or something to help her play. It would show how much she cares about Joel's memory that she's willing to put that much effort into it
