Not OP, I don't believe that, but I do think there's been a drop in quality, fun and creativity lately. Modern games are still great, but yeah there's a lack of the 3 things I mentioned, quality, fun and creativity.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, it's a really good game but the impossible lair itself is insanely difficult.

I dunno, I guess the atmosphere is pretty good and Yamaoka's soundtrack is top notch. Somehow, I ended up enjoying it more than any other SH games

I kinda wish they would found a way around just going into Silent Hill world for this one. the actual time spend in your apartment is really cool and creative

I'm going to try out Mania sometime this year myself, since I had some decent fun playing Sonic 2 on an emulator. Good luck and have fun with Adventure 1.
Also have you tried out the New Play Control version of Pikmin 2? If so, would you recommend GameCube or Wii controls for someone playing it (or the first game) for the first time?

I played a small bit of the GCN version and played NPC on everything else for Pikmin 2. Highly recommend it over the GCN controller.
