Prime breeding age

To have an excuse to dress them in high school uniforms.

hot

Because JKs are sexy.

A lot of people say it's because high school is the last time you get any sort of freedom in Japan, but don't Japanese people go to college/university? Surely you have some freedom there?
>literally thousands of Japanese video games and anime set in high school
>can't think of a single one set in university

because it's fun

because once you're 25, you're able to do everything you're ever going to be able to do and it's all downhill from there. you arent... over 25, are you user?

Since the kill themselves when they fail university, I think fun is not on the program.

Everyone wants to go on an adventure at that age.
You do realize videogames are aimed at teens, right?

>average 5/10 boy
>smoking hot 10/10 girls
Why

I've been sitting here for a solid minute trying to think of one and all I have is Death Note, and I'm 99% sure he spent half the show in High School too. I guess Erased, technically because the MC is a college student at the start.

Game developers had a boring, uneventful and study-filled young adulthood and live vicariously through the characters they create.

Might be hearsay, but I've heard from a friend of mine who works in Japan at a software company as an engineer that University for Japanese people represent their actual period of real freedom - Getting into a prestigious university in Japan is very stressful, but once you are in its actually very hard to flunk out and most companies hire you simply for having a degree at a university rather than what subject you've studied.

As such, a lot of Japanese people study their ass off to get into a reputable university, but once they get in they actually start slacking off and start to live outside of their strict regimen, fostering relationships and new hobbies. A relatively brief period of pure freedom most of them never experience again.

Appearantly a big news story a while back was that one guy who had managed to get into such a prestigious university killed himself due to Covid lockdowns "robbing him" of his precious few years of real freedom
