At least 2 years, at most 4 years, after DA4. Most likely a next gen title.

Why the fuck would you want another ME game in this day and age?

Never.
Hopefully.

Most don't even want Dragon Age 4. But unfortunately, until EA spares us, we're getting both.

as it should be
>announce game
>show story and gameplay trailer
>release date in 6 months
>interviews to talk about shit
>final marketing push 2 months before release
as it was before covid
>announce game with a cgi teaser
>talk a bit about in interviews for the next 2 weeks
>show another slightly more fleshed out teaser a year later
>a bit more info this time
>show a story trailer a year later
>small gameplay trailer too
>announce release date for next year
>delay game by 6 months
>final marketing push
>2 months before release final trailer, gameplay, story, interviews, pre-order BS, detailing day1 patch
as it is right now
>announce game with a teaser image
>nothing for a year
>story teaser
>cryptic interviews that over promise
>nothing for another year
>the game is still alive we promise
>nothing for another year
>the game is still alive we promise, we just hit a bit of a snag
>nothing for another year
>slightly more detailed teaser
>interviews
>everybody wondering what the fuck is going on
>the game is being restructured and done when it's done, sorry

looking specifically at you
>whole xbox lineup

Hopefully never, but I know they're working on it unfortunely. It's amazing hasn't learned that hiring people based on what quota box they check of instead talent and skills is going to cost you more in the end since these people couldn't code their way out of a wet paper bag. They learned literally NOTHING from that dumpster fire known as Andromeda

Should I play Andromeda? I liked Inquisition.

If you gotta ask, then you should.
You may dislike it, but it's not something you didn't know already.
It's about on par with Inquisition, just a little more broken.

This game is more than a decade old.

no

I can't believe I'm asking this but have they posted any new information about the next dumper fire in the mass effect franchise since that brief trailer with Liara?

Don't think so, beyond that it entered pre-production a month ago.

Andromeda is a mix between Inquisition and a Ubisoft open world game.
I'll say that the combat is more fun than Inquisition, but that's it.
It's a solid 5/10.

There's been a few hiccups, here and there.

I played the LE edition recently I'm surprised at how addictive the trilogy still is. Even with the repetitive as fuck Mako sections in ME1.

Andromeda wasn't awful, but holy fuck the upgrade UI was abysmal, whoever designed it should be fucking shot.

Also, I'm assuming Liara will be the only returning character? I know turian, quarians and humans all live to be about the same age so none of them will be returning unless they pull a Mass Effect 2 type deal. I'm not sure how long krogan live, probably close to asari? So it might be possible to see Wrex again?

But Bioware have denied things so far.

diversity is more important than quality. It hasn't been about making a good game for a long time now.

Wrex is already at least 1200 years old. I'd say it's safe to assume he'd be dead, too. Samara, as well. Which leaves Grunt.

Sad truth about the entire western entertainment industry. I have no doubt this next Mass Effect will be more broken than Andromeda and Assassin's Creed Unity combined. FUCK YOU SUNKEN COST FALLACY
