People keep spouting this meme, but it's just untrue.
Most Warhammer games are at least 6/10.

Reddit: The Post

>Most Warhammer games are at best 6/10.
FTFY

The reason GW doesn't have an AAA Studio make a Warhammer game is due to the fact they're afraid it would make models stop selling.

Its the strategy so only shit comes out and don't steal profit from the plastic crack

Didn't they also made some really retarded rules about 3d prints? Like if your shit isn't 100% bought you can't play or something like that?

The fact that it comes from reading it online, and it doesn't come from an analysis of the facts.
There are many good Warhammer games, many mediocre Warhammer games, and many bad Warhammer games, just like any franchise.
There are major games developed by important studios, niche indie games and bad games developed by nobodies.
And most of these games are at least playable.

>spend little money to devs
>hope you hit a jackpot

If it's not all from GW you can't play in the official tournaments or in their stores, which shouldn't be that surprising

Fully 3D-printed models are out but individual 3D-printed bits are fine, last time I checked

you mean a warhammer game that emulates the tabletop game
Dawn of War introduced a shitload of new players to the tabletop. Space Marine II is basically a big title, same with Dark Tide.
Not AAA titles but big titles nevertheless.
No, actually. They don't allow 3rd party models at their stores and tournaments in general. Sometimes it's fine if the model is mostly plastic, like no one ever told me to get the fuck off because I have a 3D printed chaingun barrell glued to a heavy bolter.

You can 3d print any bits you want if YOU DESIGNED THEM on YOUR PC.
You can't even add one single spike if you bought it and downloaded it from somewhere.

>but how can they check?
They have no real way to check.
These are the rules.

It's free money? Most games are ok too just nothing too great

Gladius is easily 8/10 OP
