FUCK YOU
FUCK THIS SHITTY """PUZZLE"""
LATERAL THINKING IS NOT A REAL SOLUTION
FUCK YOU
It's the match isn't it
This reminds me of a puzzle...
Assuming you can light a fireplace with the one match, why not do the lamp and fireplace with one match? It takes 2 seconds to light the lamp, then you can pick up some firewood from the fireplace to heat the water.
>lateral thinking is not a real solution
yeah because it's a puzzle einstein and the solution is light the match first
the room, it says so right there
It was a joker with a rifle and a silencer shooting the bell
THE MATCH LOLOLOLOOLOLOOLOLOLOLLOLLOLOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
This is how good puzzles or a mystery in anything works. They take advantage of people making assumptions.
>I have twelve meesticks
FUCK YOU
>Joker ruins another puzzle
>Lateral thinking is a manner of solving problems using an indirect and creative approach via reasoning that is not immediately obvious.
If at age 18 lighting the match isn't immediately obvious, you have bigger problems than Layton puzzles.
It has nothing to do with creativity, shitwad. It has to do with taking the puzzle for granted.
1/5 right? Ignore all other cards, either you pick up 0 1 2 3 or 4 aces before a joker.
It's not really a puzzle. Puzzles take work to solve even once you know the solution. This is closer to a riddle which look for just a simple answer, but that's not quite right either.
It's 1/2. There are only 2 possibilities:
>You flip over all aces before you flip the Joker
>You don't flip over all aces before you flip the Joker
80% chance you get an ace instead of joker
75% chance you get another ace instead of joker
66% chance you get another ace instead of joker
50% chance you get another ace instead of joker
75% of 80 is 60
66% of 60 is 40
50% of 40 is 20
is it 20%, idk if i did it right
i always hated math with a passion
1 in 5 that you pick up the joker first.
1 in 4 that you pick up the joker second.
1 in 3 that you pick up the joker third.
1 in 2 that you pick up the joker fourth.
It adds up.
A deck of 52 cards has no Jokers. There are 2 Jokers in a deck of 54 cards.
>and one joker
If it's anything like these stupid lateral thinking questions the answer is something like
>set the room on fire
what part of "52 cards and one joker" did you not understand
You don't know if the character doesn't know that
It's still 20% you retard
well baited user
you deserved my (you)
they're not asking if the character knows it's there fuckwit
they don't even mention a character it's literally just (You)
