In my opinion It's good. If you liked the previous games, you'll like this one as well. If you're not sure about it, watch some reviews.

It's both but it's more good than it is bad.

I really liked the first 2 games, bought this on sale and after the first -3 hours being maybe 15 minutes of gameplay and 2.5 hours of unskippable in game cutscenes I just can't bring myself to boot it up again. I really want to like it but fuck that shit, seriously. Absolute worst trend in all of gaming

metro was good because it was very linear and mostly sneaking with very limited ammo and all about the atmosphere, making you think twice before picking a fight. exodus is call of duty shooting bandits for days with zero fucks about ammo or hp since you can craft a million ammo and medkits and the open areas only exist to bloat the game with scattered armor upgrades and fucking crafting materials. fuck exodus

I recently replayed all three titles back to back. I like the whole series as a trilogy it's enjoyable and they are really great story telling shooters. To be honest I liked the first two a tad more than the third, with last light being my favorite. Exodus was really great though.

It’s a lackluster follow up. Open world contributes nothing to this games formula. You have the same copy paste monsters with a laughably bad story. There is zero incentive to explore because all you’ll find is crafting material and ammo which you always have a full stock of even on higher difficulties. AI is trash and the bugs during launch were abysmal. I guess if you find it on sale go for it. Not really worth the full retail price.

If you liked the first two games you should like Exodus. People think the game is open world for some reason but it isn't, it just has a couple large levels.
