For a random guy, even a veteran to be able to kill 30 guys alone with no problem is ridiculous. Even just one of those guys should be a tough fight. If I were to launch an attack on 30 guys, I should have 30 guys myself. The only games that allow me to do this are games like Mount and Blade, but even in those games I can win battles solo, which is dumb.
I don't want to be able to take a million hits and do 6 million damage. I want to lead a group of men into battle. But no games do this!

Mechanically, it is. You know what happens when you design a game to be hyper-realistic? You get blown up by a random artillery shell within the first two seconds of the game.
if you get hit by artillery just restart and find a way to counter the enemy artillery next time
