It's her Feast Day today, and she still remains the best girl in history. What are your favorite vidya or vidya characters inspired by her?
Jeanne d'Arc
why are japs so obsessed with jeanne
IRL anime character with a tragic end.
Everyone should be obsessed with her
jeanne love
Jeanne love!
A pure maiden, devoted to her true god, was almost like an angel, died because of human retardation
Died because of her retardation, you mean.
>t.bong seething
Both countries are retarded.
>tfw my des:remake character is named jeanne
>modeled after the real one, not anime one
>used a holy claymore for my ng playthrough
It was fun
She died because nobles convinced the king not to pay her ransom, and her trial was decided before it even happened. Reading the transcript of her court hearing is enough to show how intelligent she was.
Nice. I made one for her in DaS3 due to the Lothric Holy Banner. I should also try it out in Elden Ring when I have the time.
While people do hate des:remake it‘s character creator is pretty nice. Just for reference for all in this thread this is how jeanne looked like
RIP Lianne
Aprilis from Ys IX.
Do keep in mind that most art of her was made after she died. She never really had the patience to sit down and have a painting made. Pic related is one of the oldest depictions of the saint.
She gets better non-canon, though
Tard got defeated and caught, paying ransom for a failed commander is a meme.
Not her fault that someone lifted up the gates before she could fully retreat. She stayed behind to make sure more people could get to safety. The troops she had in the latter portion of her military career were also a lot less trained and trusting compared to the ones she was used to, and she was lacking her artillery.
That said, she was much better at offense than defense.
Because they aren't in the anglosphere
