The world's weren't that fun to explore, I enjoyed the demo the most since it was straight platforming. Impossible lair wasn't too bad. Has anyone played super sami roll or demon turf in here? Both have caught my eye

The devs gave gamers the exact thing they asked for and the gamers turned their noses up at it and said they didn't want it any more.

A spiritual succesor was made to Banjo Kazooie. And it was true to the original games, with all the consequences that came with. And the fandom couldn't accept what that showed about the BK games. That's all that can be said

Only 5 levels. 6 if you include Capital Bees lair which I guess does count as a level itself

Capital Bees Lair is cluttered and messy, and that's a theme that will play out thru the rest of the game. I don't know how else to describe it, levels are just messy design wise.

The first level is probably the best lay out wise, and I think that's because there are clear cut land marks that you can see almost anywhere on the map. Unfortunately it's hindered by some bad feather placement, a terrible boss fight and the awful dinosaur who has a arcade game in every level that you're required to beat 2 fucking times in a row if you want to 100% the game and all his mini games are truly fucking awful and overstay there welcome.

The second level, the Ice Palace, has a pretty good first half, it's not great, it's certainly not Freezeezee Peak. But inside the Castle, all those rooms and endless doorways you have to go thru is an example of the developers being creatively bankrupt. That section seriously felt so rushed and just stitched together.

The third level, the swamp level, is probably the biggest offender of the "messy level design". It's confusing as fuck, it's ugly to look at, everything looks the same, and there's always a batch of feathers or collectibles that you're missing because sometimes they're placed in such obscure hidden locations.

The fourth level, the Casino, is ugly, I don't like the theme, but it's designed well compared to the other levels. You know where everything is, you're never lost or confused. And I kinda liked the coin gimmick.

The fifth level is pretty decent, it feels more like the first world, where you can see the entire level anywhere you are, you can see landmark locations so you know where you've been and where haven't. It has a pretty good theme song and boss fight.

But I think a big part of why this game failed is the uninteresting moves the characters learn. They're simply not fun like Banjo Kazooie.

It's like a big showcase of bad design, all the characters are ugly, all the levels are big and weird and empty, none of the bosses are fun, and every time it tries to share a gimmick from the games it's based on it does them worse.
