Kingdom Come: Requiem (2023)

>set in 1423 in the midst of the Hussite Wars
>Henry is now 39 years old
>religious fundamentalism, cults and factions will play a major role in gameplay and story
>Henry, now being a minor lord, will need to balance his duties and responsibilities towards his subjects with his personal quest to retain his father's sword
>Henry will have a choice between remaining Roman Catholic and loyal to the Holy Roman Empire, or converting to Protestantism and joining the Hussites led by Jan Hus, with major consequences either way
>there will be witchhunts and burnings in the game, Henry will be able to side with the commoners and persecute witches, or try to spare them through diplomacy

Any questions?

Uh yeah what DLC is good and why does the combat suck

sound fucking kino wish it were true.
whens the trailer?

Trailer will drop either Summer or Fall of 2022.

Looking good.

sounds based

Combat is good. You need to train with Bernard in Rattay.
Sounds awesome. Would play.

Where can I preorder this magnificent piece of vidya?

Henry's come to see us!

Will the combat towards a group of enemies improve?
It was very uncomfortable to fight multiple enemies at the same time unless I used stealth or just ran until some of them stopped their aggro, fighting them one by one and repeating the same shit over and over again.
Also, will the polearms be included in your inventory or will they remain as a situational weapon?

>Will the combat towards a group of enemies improve?
Yes, they've overhauled the combat entirely. It feels and plays VERY different.

>Also, will the polearms be included in your inventory or will they remain as a situational weapon?
No polearms. There are, at the very least:
>swords
>morningstars/flails
>maces
>bows/crossbows
>hammers
>spears
>handcannons/primitive firearms (very limited and expensive, as is powder, and slow to reload)
>fists
>daggers
>axes
>bludgeons/clubs

>No polearms.
Alright then.

can't wait for a round two of journalist bitching how nignogs are not impregnating white women2

No retard, that's how the third game will look like. It would be too big of a time jump. They still have to do a game about teuton knights, since they were in the Kickstarter trailer. Jan Zizko fought in the Grunwald battle, so it's fitting.

>Yes, they've overhauled the combat entirely.
Will we be able to perform combos this time instead of being masterstrike'd by them?
Can we expect a better enemy AI this time?

>Will we be able to perform combos this time instead of being masterstrike'd by them?
No.

>Can we expect a better enemy AI this time?
Yes, AI has been overhauled and reworked.

>It would be too big of a time jump
It's only 20 years, KCD was set in 1403.

How does the game contextualise a minor lord running around effectively being an adventurer?

It takes a lot of inspiration from Mount & Blade.

will combos actually be usable this time instead of it just being a perfect block simulator

No, they won't.
