It stopped being engaging by the 4th game.
Especially with the game starting out with characters I have zero clue about.
They talk to each other like lifelong friends while I'm a complete stranger.
It felt isolating and depressing, so I stopped playing.

Because all the Trails titles are medicore shovelware, especially with their budget and animation. Even complie heart titles looks better overall.
Also the stories in Trails is pretty garbage, especially with the Cold Steel titles.
