How is PC gaming bigger then ever before yet feels so dead?

cats are evil beast, we should eat them

consumerism. people think buying something will make them feel happy even if they do nothing with it. it was prevalent before with pc gaming but now its pretty clear its a significant force.

because newfags only play competitive shit like lol, valorant, csgo etc..

and the current scene of online games is very soulless. lan parties are soulful and i've never attended a single one, i just know that fact because of how gay discord is

What period of time do you consider it to be "alive"

I only play games on my switch lite. Steam deck is the only thing that can save pc gaming

Its soullessly driven by money now

Because gaming is dead.

because vidya in general right now is shit OP

>yet feels so dead?
Because you only play AAA games like the normal fag you are.

Bring back server browsers and stop being so draconian about "lockerroom talk".

What are your conditions for "feeling alive", you faggot?

uhhhh.. meds?

Start nailing politicians to posts.

stop playing shitty games
it's quite simple

Because despite everything the average consumer always defaults to playing with a console.

>be ausfailian
>every MP game at constant risk of dying due to low player numbers
>tantalised by US/EU servers with players but 200ms ping makes most games unplayable

it hurts

the gpu prices here are just fucked

ausfags just need to create more games and develop more of an industry

because piracy is all but dead and there's no way to own your games on PC

Because the line between PC and console is significantly blurred these days unlike 10-15 years ago where there was a distinct difference between the two platforms

if we can do it wont matter so much, if the industry has revealed anything over the last 20 years it's that playability > bells and whistles, time to go back 10 - 15 years of graphical capability to increase market exposure

I played V Rising for like 5 hours today and had a great time. My biggest issue is that I beat games within a few days, so I constantly run out of games until the next big one comes along

if any of the games you been playing has any marketing or you seen on a youtube channel most likely you're playing the wrong games in general
play something like spellforce 3 or northern journey instead

You live in some other world not in our real one?

>still living in Australia

because you sit on Any Forums all day instead of playing games

KYS, queer.

Cause you're a faggot. Replayed CP2077, before that played Metal Max at the recommendation of an user, have STALKER CoP lined up for this weekend along with Grandia 2.
Damn I love video games.
