yes with that attitude.

Yeah but mods will make it a lot more playable 3+ years after it releases

starfield will reveal the answer

Skyrim with 200+ mods is literally the perfect gaming experience

All the others have been why would that change with 6 and now there's Microsoft meddling on top of it

we will see

i unironically have faith in bethesda of actually making it a nice game, trying to fix skyrim's flaws.
Literally all you need to do is make the gameplay and enemy design less dated and poor, reduce the ammount of dungeons and/or make them less copypasted, and add more unique memorable interactions / significant quests (like in some older bethesda games), and then it's automatically already a pretty good enough game provided they don't fuck up anything Skyrim did correctly. Everything else is a bonus

TES 1 2 3 4 and 5 were also shit.

yes, as every other bethesda game is, now stop posting wojaks

So just like every other Elder Scrolls game?

there is no way it can live up to the hype

On release? Yes. After 3+ years of patches? A flawed but enjoyable way to waste time installing mods but never actually playing.

let's see here
>Arena was shit
>Daggerfall was shit
>Morrowind was shit
>Oblivion was shit
>Skyrim was shit
use your fucking brian.

We will know in about 4 years

not if they upgrade/change the engine like what a lot of people on this board want because "muh ladders"

>it happened in the past so it has to happen again forever!
yea right lol. ES6's modding is going to get hamstrung out of the gate by bethesda. if you think they haven't been SEETHING this whole time that they weren't able to bolt the creation club onto skyrim ~5 years after launch... you haven't been paying attention. all mods that bethesda isn't getting paid for are going to be against the EULA and hit with take down notices. save this post.

>no kirkbride
>no soule
wadaya think ?

I actually don't see this happening
Ever since Skyrim Bethesda rpgs have gotten too gutted to be serviceable titles
Fo4 and 76 prove this
Modding, for all the good it does, is still putting perfume on a piece of shit
Bethesda games ride and die on their characters, their quests, their world and their story
And while you can technically mod all of that in, you need a talented team of modders to make that happen and they do it for free (or with a Patreon or something)
Most of your mods are going to be textures, models, scripts and maybe some new areas. It's a lot harder to get good voice actors and make characters with full lip syncing and quests and everything else to fix a game that you don't even want to play in it's vanilla state
Skyrim was the last Bethesda game to have good bones. Fallout 4 was so unforgivable that the modding scene briefly came in and fizzled out and you see where it is even now in 2022.
Hell Bethesda even put in a lot more effort with the Skyrim creation club, revising the content to make sure you aren't spammed with quests at the beginning of the game while fallout 4's cc content will literally break the game if you have too much of it installed
