Arthas was wrong to pursue Mal'Ganis to Northrend. Arthas was wrong to burn the ships of his men. Arthas was wrong to take up Frostmourne.
Arthas was right to cull Stratholme. It was burn the city and all her citizens or let the plague of undeath spread to the rest of Lordaeron. He was absolutely, 100%, no debate in the right.
He was wrong to throw a fit at Uther and Jaina without explaining, though. That's absolutely an order that required explanation.
