Have you ever heard anyone call gaming "cyber gaming"...

Have you ever heard anyone call gaming "cyber gaming"? I know it's awkward for boomers to just say "gaming" but hearing the whole thing, "group cyber gaming" was kinda cringe. Is it a Texan thing?

Boomers will pretend to not know how to pronounce something for many reasons

i love americans i wish i was american yeeehaaaw

Yes, yes, we’ve heard it all before. Democrats blame the guns. Christians blame the viji games. Some blame it on Marylin, and the heroin. Whatever, the crowd is fickle. They’ll forget this in a week.

For a good amount of people, especially older ones, "gaming" is synonymous with gambling / casino games (your state probably has a set of laws called "Gaming Regulations," read it and you'll notice it's not about our type of gaming). So, he calls video games "cyber gaming" because he's afraid if he said that suspect was in to "gaming," all the viewers would think he was hitting the slots or card tables.

>pretend
No, they just don't know how to pronounce something.

Anyway, it's not news that older boomers see video games as satanic witch-craft sorcery, but it's to you and me to keep it that way. Keep the boomers scared and away from the internet.

I wonder if they'll blame it on him being a troon kek.

Do you have that image? I've only seen a thimbnail of it

"gaming" refers to tabletop games. cards, rpgs, board gamed etc.
video gaming refers to the digital games hillbillys play on their computers and consoled

this, no point in caring or looking

i think he means cyber sex gaming aka erp
back in the day "cyber sex" was a widely used term

What about cyber digital electronic online video gaming?

yeah i wonder how the police will live down that 'cyber gaming' blunder

i just came home from playing dnd with the lads and my dad was watching some anime i hadnt heard of on netflix. its a mad world

It's the internet. Mass shootings like this didn't happen before the internet was a thing.

Reminds me of when the Australian communications minister, at the time spruiking a China style great filter, said "we have up to 20,000 people being infected with these spams and scams that come through the portal". To this day, that man is a panellist on retainer at sky news. He doesn't even know how to use a book. That is what a mandatory paycheck gets you. Not even the bare minimum; an active insult.

This is part of it. It sounds less stupid to try and connect a popular hobby to something if you use a less common term for it. He realizes how useless it is to say he has a hobby that 67% of Americans share so for it not to sound like "We know he watches television" he goes for something that could sound less widespread.

What I've never gotten are boomers who still don't know how to use computers at work. They've been in common use for over 30 years at this point, I can only assume you're retarded if you can't use them.

>be american
>get shot

And nobody had ever killed a jew before hitler

Most likely what this user said , he's just trying to be specific so that people won't misunderstand and think its something else

It’s been debunked. The guy in the photos is very much alive and r*ddit has been laughing at us about it for the past several days.

White people are not smart, so they do everything in their power to make sure brown people don't get educated so they can feel good.

Wow! So did cyber gaming and group gaming prevent the police from going in and killing deranged man who was shooting and killing the kids for nearly an hour, too?

They did. It's gotten worse since though, but everything in this country has gotten worse in the last 20 years.
