In one hand, it was at that year that things started going downhill. Shitposting, "this is bait", GETs and >tfw no gf all gained traction back then. It truly was the start of Any Forums 2.0 and the aftermath of all the obnoxious things that started 10 years ago are still felt today.

On the other hand, I think it was when Any Forums's sense of community was at its strongest as well. That's when we started doing collabs and murals. We started making OC, way more than we ever did before and that we ever did since. We played multiplayer vidya together way more often. We crashed Megaupload by downloading dolphin porn and reverse rape femdom vidya. And even at its worst it felt like it was rooted at a sincere desire to just have fun instead of layers of irony or identity politics or a craving for validation of today.
