What is this 2005?

Their single player games are usually defined by groundbreaking tech decisions and huge attention to detail in virtually every aspect
Their multiplayer games are pretty much just shoving in as many cosmetics as physically possible until your eyes begin to bleed

lock the player in a room while NPCs deliver voice lines. jump scares. have the player walk along a barren environment and suddenly start playing atmospheric music as enemies spawn in. place loot in every slightly off the beaten path corner.

They went massively downhill after Left 4 Dead 2. Portal 2 was a huge step down from 1 and things just got worse from there.

"How do we compete with World of Warcraft?"
Not even kidding. Gabe said that in 2005.

They're the kings of game-making. They'd rather cancel a shit game to maintain that reputation. Based. They created an entire new VR platform and proved no other game companies can even compete by creating something as good as HL: Alyx.

When Valve makes a game, it's a really fucking good game.

That cards game begs to differ

Underlords are those that like what Valve did to gaming.
