>go for the ends of the map where the toughest ship battles take place
>get rekt
>thought i just needed to play more of the game to unlock better ship parts
>retry to beat them
>get rekt again
>this continues after i complete the game
>find out the treasure maps unlock the necessary ship parts to go fight the toughest ships in the game
>tfw

yup kenway trilogy are far more superior than ezio

i liked Sid Meier's Pirates! but open world action-adventure

wonder if

Yes, Sid Meier's Pirates invented pirates, that's correct.

It was fucking awful for someone who didn't care about naval combat at all. 90% of the land missions are the same, repetitive chore of trailing someone and eavesdropping on them. Story was meh.

when he meets the assassins and then goes "know fuck you i'm gonna steal shit and get drunk" and works for the templar, i kinda stopped playing.

Assassins are fucking boring and pointless. All they do is shit around and oppose Templars instead of having a purpose of their own. Of course playing outside of an organization with such a stupid directionless mindset was refreshing.

>play pirate game
>completely ignore treasure maps
Ye plunder what ye deserve, matey

it may as well have!

Even with the best shit, 2 of those 4 Legendary Ship fights border on cheating.

One is invincible except it's ass but it can move double your speed, can turn on a dime and has something like a 128 cannonbroadside. The other is that prick that specializes in ramming and can teleport.

You have to tap into the holy spirits of cheese and jank to win.

Why did you play a naval combat game if you don't like naval combat? What is your decision making process? I'm quite curious.

I replayed it on switch last year

It was always an overrated Jack Sparrow simulator

Yes, Pirates of the Caribbean invented pirates, that's correct.

The last AC game I enjoyed. Got half way through and my save game crashed however and that was that.

There was no Jack Sparrow faggotry. Lick my salty taint.
