>The biggest jump in performance is expected from the top-dog RTX 4090 which is purported to pack 53% more CUDA cores compared to the RTX 3090. Pair that with potentially higher IPC or higher clocks on the upcoming Ada Lovelace architecture and the 4090 could even end up being nearly twice faster than its predecessor.
>Meanwhile, the RTX 4080, 4070 and 4060 respectively feature 23% (10,752), 25% (7,680) and 28% (4,608) more CUDA cores compared to the RTX 3080, 3070 and 3060.

>thos high priced "graphic cards" are just fans selling

>70 series with reasonable vram
wtf i want a 4070

Never scales linearly like that, it'll be 20-30% faster than 3090 not double. Look at 3080 cuda counts vs 2080ti, it has double the cuda cores but 30-40% faster not double.

I'll be keeping my 3080 until the 5080 for a good jump in performance plus nothing even pushes it at 1440p yet anyway, games still tailored for fucking PS4.

guess I'll sell my 3070 and pick up either a 4070 or a 4080

so basically 20-30% performance boost over 3090 and uses less power

Until a GPU can get 60+fps stable in 4K/Ultra settings/High Quality RTX in every game, its still garbage.

256 BITS? 320 BITS???

>muh cuda cores
>muh dual wielding power supply
Why the fuck are they not releasing graphics cards with small size, little heat and noise anymore? I just want quite, strong gpu with little power cosumption.

>4060 with 8gb vram
Why

Because xx60 are meant for 1080p/1440p gaming.

If you want cutting edge 1440p/4k gaming you shouldn't get a xx6x

because if it had 12 you wouldn't want to buy the 4070 :)

>xx60
>1440p

Yeah? Since the 3000 series.

NUMBERS NUMBERS NUMBERS NUMBERS NUMBERS NUMBERS NUMBERS NUMBERS

xx60 runs very well most 1440p games since the 3xxx user.

PC brainlet here, but what does this mean for power? I have to get a 1,000w psu now for the new gpus?

Oh look its an incremental upgrade. Waitfags, what happened?

It means instead of living on the edge with your shit 500w PSU you need at least a 750w to be "cutting it close" in high power draw scenarios. If you want a complete peace of mind get a 850w.

Shit, I already bought a 750w psu.

It's only a problem if you plan on buying the 4090 or eventual 4090 Ti

I was planning to get the 4080 so I should be fine?

im shooting for a 4080

My 5 year old card is doing fine since I'm not doing retarded shit like 4k or ultra settings.

You'll be fine.

Thanks glad I was able to dodge a bullet there.

I wish I could get over my axiety and learn to sell something. I don't know how to use the post office.

>sell something
>get scammed by seller
>end up losing money + the item i sold
Not worth it. Just hoard forever.
