No, I played it recently again and still holds up. Now, I'm about to start Episodes from Liberty City. Now that Euphoria is owned by Take-Two Interactive and that it's dead tech, I hope they make it open-source. Of course, the results will never be the same as the ones achieved in GTA IV, but it would still be cool.

Nobody got filtered by the gameplay ever. It's good. The engine is just super shitty so not everyone can be bothered to spend 3 hours fixing it with mods

I used this last time I played but looking at the comments it seems like Rockstar broke the modpack with an update recently

No, I found it to be annoying in some places, though I grew up with quicksaving in games, so I don't have any room to complain.
the game should've had its own soundtrack like gta 5, I think that's why it feels so weird going to 5 from 4, oh, that and the gun designs.

I only had a PS3 at the time and the uneven ~20fps made me horribly motion sick so yeah I got filtered hard.
