I have to say I found Hexen 2 to be a bit boring. The different weapons the classes have felt a bit weak and their melees not very satisfying.

And I left Hexen 1 midway of the Seminary, with the fucking Slaughtaurs the game is a slog and I got bored. I think it's the best looking doom¿clone? and I like its combat, but I can't for the life of me get to finish it.

By that point in the game Centaurs/Slaughtaurs shouldn't be an issue for any class. Timon's Axe, Arc of Death, and Wraithverge eat them for breakfast.

I think Deathkings is a straight up improvement on that base game. Despite not actually having any new weapons/enemies/items/etc, it takes all the existing assets and crafts an truly excellent set of hubs and levels.
