Yes, miura wrote the story and designed all the armor sets himself. He even learned how to program so he could animate the warrior's spinny greatsword attacks.

please just add dungeons and i will pick this game back up. thats all. people who life skill have so much shit they can do from hunting to being a ship merchant but there is fuck all to do if you want PvE other than run across the map to fight world bosses and then go run the same enemy rotation while fighting off retards try to take your XP

i do agree the lighting is one of the most jank parts of the game

i get they wanted no loading between zones to make it more immersive, but god damn id take some loading between zones than the constant fucking pop in, it's like having a constant seizure in your vision

Standard korean MMO affair, you grind hundreds of thousands of trash mobs for money to buy better gear to kill tankier trash mobs at a different location, but if combat isn't your thing you can craft thousands of miscellaneous items to level your lifeskills up. There is a pretty neat system where you "invest" in locations and in return they send you materials occasionally.
