Just open the map, place waypoints along the road and then follow them

>he used the map
You didn't beat the game

Didn't bother even bothered doing that part, I just used the consecrated snowfield skip, did the evergaol and move on to haligtree.

>I just used the consecrated snowfield skip
the what?

I think the problem is that by this point you're already 50+ hours into the game and starting to get sick of the gameplay itself. The game is simply too long.

The fog isn't even real problem. It's there just so you don't see the flat, uninteresting field of nothing but reused shit right as you enter it. Ordina is like the only half-original thing that's there, the lift could've taken you straight to Haligtree and literally nothing of values would've been lost.

Sure, that'll help against the magic giants, the lightning balls and the giant bears that can come out of nowhere and kill you in a second.

It does, you just ride past them

There's a spot close to were the deadbird spawns were you can just jump with torrent then double jump to fall to your dead and then just respawn at a stake of marika right next to the liturgical town.

Why didn't they just cut this entire part? The game could have used some serious editing.

Does that still work? There was a similar trick to fight Radahn early but it was patched out.

>Does that still work?
Yeh, here's one way to do it.

You can get the 2 lift medallion halfs early and just rest at any grace point in altus to trigger the festival.

Lake of rot is not that bad. Its obvious where to go next and you can just do suicide runs to collect items. Grand cloister is total cancer however and probably the worst area in the game.

>Grand cloister is total cancer however
It's like 8 enemies.

And one of them is a putrid tree spirit in a pool of scarlet rot with kindreds shooting you while you fight it

> Grand cloister is total cancer however and probably the worst area in the game.
You can literally sneak by all those enemies and get to astel.

Where? I killed all the kindred and looted the chest and never saw a putrid tree spirit.

>with kindreds shooting you while you fight it
It doesn't have to be if you get rid of them first. Plus the Putrid Tree can kill them in 1 or 2 hits depending on the attack is uses.
Those Ulcerated/Putrid Tree Spirits are really no way near as bad as people make them out to be; just don't lock on and roll when you hear the sound cue

the worst area is haligtree
felt like the dark souls 2 DLC where they just place as many enemies as they can all over the place and bloat their damage/hp

You forgot invisible dragons, and wolf riding elves that move like greased shit and fire a thousand arrows a second while drawing aggro from everything else you can’t see just trying not to get hit

Consecrated Snowfield and Mountaintop of the Giants are so fucking shit tier, thank god you can just torrent through all that bullshit.

Complete retard here, is there not some item or some shit to get around the rot faggotry?
