First, he doesn't have a Youtube channel that he makes content for. He has a VOD channel that he uploads Twitch VODs to, and he has a series of unaffiliated clipper channels who take his content and clip it for themselves.

And second, 90% of the people he watches, he does so because his stream wants him to and most of them tend to be much, much smaller channels who his sharing of their videos gives a huge boost to. In fact, there's a not-insignificant number of Youtubers/streamers whos' entire careers exist now because he reacted to them and got people to see how good they were.

It's hard to bash Asmongold too much, he plays the system but he does not do what most of these millionaires do and opens a patreon page or beg for donations.

He could scam way harder than he is direct from his fanbase, and it would work. He chooses not to do that.
