I think it looks pretty good for a starting farm to be honest.
It'll look better once you get some buildings and clean up some more.

I like to set up an area for the barn and chicken coop usÃng the lakes as natural water sources for the animal and fencing it in. you could have some extra fields in those areas too. it looks prettier if you keep trees around though or you going to end up with one big empty field map. also setting path between everything (try not just use a straight line gives a more lively feel too

It looks pretty good so far, but I'd recommend replacing the fences with walk ways and planting double the plants you have now. Fences are really just used for animal
