Having more features in a game such as this can be a negative. Mythic + heavily rewards multiple clears every week in a competitive way. It forces very specific dungeon design which are in lamost every way inferior to vanilla dungeons. Then you have raiding. Harder raids create more division. Wow raid design peaked when it was in ulduar (25 vs 10 player) difficulty. Timegating isthe implication that you must play on a schedule not of your choice but blizzards to maximize metrics. I cant do a 1 week push to grind a full soul ash inventory. I can do a little bit every week and so on. Same with new rep, you gotta do it at their pace. It encourages logging on regularly for small burst window (a model that isnt universally loved)
