I always liked that old, late PS1/early PS2 Japanese CGI where everything was all shiny, like Resident Evil 0 or Ace Combat 5. Plenty of others like that, of course, but those are always the two I think of first.

This one, my mind was blown away after realizing that the menu screen was the frozen throne
Say what you want but Squeenix knows how to make good CGI (when they aren't trying to make a movie out of it)

The TOR trailers were incredibly kino.

The Endwalker trailer wasn't as good but I like the music more
I unironically have no idea how someone, even someone who despises 14, cannot admit that shadowbringers is among if not the best trailer of all time

EW's trailer music was fucking all over the place because of the multiple themes.
I get that, but beginning and end are so good that it carries the song alone, that and it's the theme that represents the finale of the storyline they've been building on for 10 years
>Stories sown along the way
>Tales of loss and fire and faith
the urianger and y'shtola bit is just them standing there and not doing anything
they should have skipped that bit and dedicated more time to letting the warrior of light use samurai instead of having him change and immediately job
endwalkers theme incorporates motifs from across every expansion but its also amazing
what a retarded take
Go away, newnigger
definitely a recent newcomer take as he doesn't understand the impact of both scenes
He used samurai enough at the start, the point was to show that none of the previous jobs were working.
Plus
>We may accept this fate, or defy it. But we cannot deny it
you completely missed the point of the fucking trailer
I never played W3, just WoW in its golden years. Can someone explain why Arthas was a bad guy? My memory was that he got corrupted over his time in Northrend by Nerzgul or something (some orc warlock that betrayed demons and got punished?). Why is Arthas the character considered to be a piece of shit if it was Nerzsomething working his magic on him?
Arthas isn't a plain bad guy in that sense, he's considered more of a tragic character
How come when video games do cgi it looks amazing but whenever anything else uses it it ends up looking like shit?
I want a animated digital 3d show with the same quality as a good videogame cutscene.
the only thing that comes even close is that space pirate Hallock movie and even then it was only alright
SE doesn't make their own CGI, it's done by Visual Works
Because it costs less to make a few 2-5 minute cutscenes than it does to make a whole series
