my actual pcsx2 library is rather barren, I've been mostly playing backups on my actual ps2, and doesn't have anywhere near as much shit as my actual physical game library.

I recently found out you can compress GC, Wii, PS1, and PS2.isos to save a LOT of space with no apparent downside.

Then use a cmd line, the basic one is like this:
chdman createcd -i "path to game" -o "GAME_NAME.chd"
I found a batch script on /vg/ too but haven't tried it since I'm a bit of a brainlet:
for /r %%i in (*.cue, *.gdi, *.iso) do chdman createcd -i "%%i" -o "%%~ni.chd"
Your PS2 games will shrink up to 50% in size.
For GC/Wii you just get a newer Dolphin, right click on a game and hit "convert file..." then hit okay and it will shrink. Delete the old file afterward. The compression there was sometimes much greater than 50% but usually about the same as CHD.
You can convert back to .iso if you need the games in that format(for hardware or whatever). Basically you're just compressing the games like you would in a zip file but it remains playable in these formats. Posting with a boob webm so people pay attention to the post. I ignored the anons talking about this for a couple of days but it's really handy, easy, and worth doing.

yeah chd is amazing shit, its about the size of a .rar archive but also playable. no downsides at all using it for pcsx2.
