Modern Any Forums has alot of shills When you see a "Play Azur Lane" or "Are you rolling for Yelan" That's paid advertising. Sometimes it's community members even doing it for free. It's cheap to hire a PR guy to browse Any Forums and shitpost talking up the game they're sponsoring. So yeah, some of it is paid, some of it is ironic, some of it are fans just wanting to talk about the game. But you're talking about how annoying the tutorial is, what JRPG doesn't have an annoyingly long tutorial section? Many games take hours until the fun starts. I play gachas and for me it's about resource management. I had an itch and a random tiddy gacha scratched it. I wasn't stupid enough to pay for jpegs though only thing it cost me was my time which I was going to use to shitpost on Any Forums anyways.

I play gacha games because I need something to do on the train. Gacha games tend to be fine if you like animengames and arr fine with anime stories. Fate Grand Order for example is basically a VN plus an RPG on your phone, but all party members are unlocked via gacha bullshit. You might struggle with challenge events or bonus content, but if you're going F2P and genuinely like the story and characters then FGO is great.
I also started playing Blue Archive this week, been playing for 3 days. It's fine. It's perfect for playing on the go since each level is like a minute and 20 seconds on average so it's not hard to do 2 or 3 of them while waiting for something else.
Listen man, you have to remember that gacha games are primarily based at an Asian audience. They have better public transport infrastructure so lots of them take thr bus or train, which isbwhy mobile games are so popular over there. They just want something to occupy them for like 15 minutes until they get to their stop. If you're trying to play it for hours on end like a "real" game then that's retarded. That's like sitting in an arcade and complaining that the games there are just the same thing over and over again. That's the point, they're only supposed to be played for short bursts of time each day.
It's like complaining that you can't do anything in Animal Crossing and can only play for like 15 minutes a day. That's the entire fucking point. It's why so many gacha games have stamina systems that atop you from playing for more than an hour at most too.

There's your problem, if you haven't noticed all gachas are on google play/apple store. You can't buy porn on those platforms. Even lewd games are censored to meet regulations. That's why all these threads advertising gachas use lewd FANART because the core games have little or none at all. Unironically Azur Lane probably had the cheekiest skins I've seen. Such as pic related. For real lewdity you need to turn to webgachas on DMM.com like Venus Vacation or deeper into full blown Hgames. Most of the shit on Any Forums tho is just shit. Azur isn't a game you waste time trying to play, it's a game you google the jpegs.
