Alan Wake 2 being survival horror genuinely sounds amazing, I'm just hoping we can have better enemy designs than just humans this time around. Even Control was mostly just humans until later enemies and the DLC.

It's not really scary. Some spooky/creepy moments but not horror like when you think of Outlast or something. Remember, it's only rated T. Also, the combat system is quite basic and repetitive. If you dig the story in the first hour or two, you'll enjoy the rest of the game. If not, it will feel like a chore playing it.
