whats the point of this?

bigger number = better

can a high end pc even get 500fps constant in cs go?

Pixel response times.

probably

fighter pilots stopped being able to see the difference in frames roughly over 250, the average gaymer isn't going to notice a difference beyond that rate so this is a total scam

lets say i get 100 fps in a game does that look better in 500 hz or 144?

CSGO

>not playing porn games at locked 500fps

there are 360hz monitors out and pros still play on 240hz

Maybe if people really hate LCD blur? I guess? It's a really niche case.
Or if you're a super pro gamer or something and you need that extra best case 5ms input lag reduction?

a dogshit pc can. it's optimised as hell

>it's optimised as hell

lel

i think you mean valorant

anything above 120 is diminishing returns

I blow the shit out of others at 60fps

ofcourse you do :3

A 500hz monitor will allow you to use black frame insertion at 250hz, which is probably still overkill, but it's much better than a 144hz running effective 72hz with BFI.

As a FPSfag there's no point to going past 144hz or 240hz. You legit can't see much difference past that point.

>fighter pilots stopped being able to see the difference in frames roughly over 250
source? sounds interesting

It's an antiquated example where a single bright flash was displayed on a screen at some ridiculously small number. The problem with that test is that it only proved that the human eye can notice a flash of light of extremely short duration, which has little relation to perception of frame-rate differences.

Probably 500 assuming you're getting 100 fps locked.

You should just get a VRR monitor though if you want the best, smoothest clarity at any fps.
