Finns may be emotionally death, but their language is probably one of the most expressive there is. Japanese language in comparison is very simple and it's hard to express any complex concepts or thoughts in it.

japanese uses short phrases to do the same. it's more verbose but equivalent

as a finn who speaks swedish, english (duh), russian, some german and some french i have to say that the finnish language is anything but emotionally dead, i dont think its my own bias either because i speak 3 other languages near-fluently and they just are incapable of producing such expressive and colourful language as finnish is. im not a fucking weeb though so i dont know how japanese compares

Not really, japanese simply don't have words for some concepts, so you end up simplifying or explaining it in round about way, or just picking up something "close enough". Though to be fair, they have words for some concepts other languages lack as well.
