I just realized I'm going to spend half of the development time drawing enemies, npc portraits and weapon icons
Dark souls is already berserk post golden age. For a golden age game, it should be mount and blade with a dark magic system that involves sacrificing your friends.

I’m making a stealth game in RPGMaker.
Development is going smoothly. My primary motive for making this game is to see if it’s possible to make a stealth game in such a limited engine. So far, it’s working out better than expected.
Out of curiosity, what mechanics would people want to see in a good stealth game? I’ve already got a bunch of perfectly working mechanics implemented, but I just want to be sure I’ve covered all bases.
I’ve only been giving myself a single day off at a time at most. I feel like a lazy POS if I’m not working on it, despite the fact that I’ve managed to get 90% of the core gameplay done in under a month.
Need to still set them on fire though.
Finally got the Style Meter working!
It just works to make you want to play better

Having a small set of utilities that help you traverse your environment (see rope arrow from thief)

Also Thief's ledge grabbing mechanic, the same thing was in Prey and Deus Ex Mankind Divided, it's a good movement option I enjoy very much.
