The general concept is interesting, but I don't think you could call this a game.
games usually have win and loosing conditions.
This is more just like an interactive story where you can't lose at any point and it doesn't even seem to be a challenge.
So I got bored fairly quickly.

you used to be able to fail in the original because you could only close the game when you saved in a bed. if you closed the game at any other point you got this message when you relaunched the game and couldn't play anymore

I read about that, but that's just stupid, and that's probably why it was removed.

Oh and the game seemed fairly depressing to me.
So it also dragged your mood down aswell.
With NPCs telling you stuff like: it's no hope just give up, just let everything die.
Like jeez, wouldn't be surprised if this drives some kids into mental illness.

this game always feel weird to me.
on the one hand it's cute, have a nice art style and decent fanbase.
on the other hand it feel largely forgotten by everyone else even for rpg maker genre standard and I don't see any Oneshot fans outside of this place. but hey it's better to have less people
