Why don't you have 500Hz monitor, Any Forums?

Because I don't have extra 5000 € to waste on new PC and monitor hardware, and I don't play zoomer competitive shit at all.

what new games run at 500fps?

120 is the most I'll ever need. Even 75 is fine honestly.

I have a 240hz G-Sync PureXP monitor

csgo and rainbow six with top of the line cpu and gpu in 1080p. Pretty much nothing else

What does PurXP do

motion blur reduction, built with assistance by the founder of blurbusters

Because I have a 31Khz monitor.

Ill upgrade from 1440 144hz in 10 years when 4k 240hz is possible in modern titles.

At this point this shit sounds like those retarded booths in amusement parks that started with 3D and went on to 5D, 700D.

because somewhere between 120-240hz is unironically the cutoff point for human vision.
People can't reliably identify 240hz monitors vs 120hz in blind tests.
120hz vs 60 though? easily, every time.

The human eye can't see more than 14 frames per second

>500hz
the human eye can only see up to 32 fps

I'll stick to my 144hz OLED panel.

I'm fine with 60

it doesnt matter because unless youre playing like csgo or some other shit youre not getting more than 90fps even with a 3080 and a $500 cpu because devs cant program for shit.

shitters sure need a lot of cope to get that

>new

S1mple uses 1080p 240Hz

>not doing 1080p 120hz on a 240hz monitor
4k is a meme and should only be used for watching movies.

You want to know how high you can perceive the fps? Use a light that turns on and off repeatedly, at first you can see the light flickering, just keep upping the speed and eventually it will become completely still with no more flicker, that's how much you can perceive. This is called Critical Flicker Frequency (CFF).

4k is terrible for movies, absolutely amazing for general computing, and decent for games.

I would literally never go back to a multi monitor setup after experiencing a large AIO display. I can have 4 1080p monitors worth of space open at once on a single screen, the next monitor I buy will be an 80" 8k one.
