Redpill me on Bad Company 2. It's 5 bucks on steam right now. I read the online doesn't work, is that true? If none else, I still want to try the single player. How is it?

are you zoom zooms so retarded that you arent able to click one button in order to torrent your game and have it set up and ready to play by the time you posted this abbhorent post?
dumb fucking nigger
The single player isn't worth $5 and the game is completely dead. There might be one server up at any given time but it's always Russian with 500 ping. Don't bother. Also, the multiplayer really wasn't even that good to begin with. It was the beginning of the end for Battlefield. They tried very hard to rip off Call of Duty. I think it's funny how Any Forums praises it because it was their first experience with the series.
dont buy any game that has this yellow box on the store page
also the game requires a product key for co-op and multiplayer that steam does not give you, so you're locked to single player anyways
its a good game but not 'put up with EA's horseshit' good.
I heard the destruction is amazing and unparalleled in this game though. Thoughts?
The destruction in Red Faction: Guerilla's multiplayer was unparalleled too with everything being destructible. It was still a dogshit game.
But to answer your question the destruction in BC2 is overhyped, like every other aspect of the game.
it's dead. bc1's single player was a lot better.
The game was a ton of fun when it came out and was still active but the PC version was always kind of jenky. I tried playing it the other month and there are a handful of servers still running but I constantly get kicked over needing some outdated version of anti cheat or some other nonsense. I had hundreds of hours into the game but even to me the game didn't age very well. If I were to pick an old battlefield to play I'd stick with 4 even if it is 90% hackers these days.
>I read the online doesn't work, is that true?
BF players are morons and don't realize that they need to hit the refresh button on the server browser. That's the only reason you see posts saying the online doesn't work.
it was great fun in it's prime
It's kino buy it
youtu.be
this is still the only battlefield game i ever truly enjoyed, the rush maps are properly designed for the 32 player matches they host. guns are fun and sound good, game ran well and i never had a shitty evening with it, even if the match went poorly it was still fun.
no idea if it's still populated today, probably a few servers still up, doesn't require origin to my knowledge. singleplayer was mostly forgettable but it's servicable, for 5$ it's hard to go wrong with bfbc2.
The beggining of the end for battlefield
online works but dead
>The beggining of the end for battlefield
Literally no one cared about this franchise before Bf3, why do Sneed Company grognards pretend otherwise?
Bad company was bad yes
does not any future entries any better
Bad company 2 is a bad copy of bad company 1.
If you wanna buy something, get bad company 1.great game
BF3 is the actual downfall CoDification of the series. BC2 was the last gasp of console oriented fun times.
Bf4 doesn't have that many hackers, cope.
>want to play bf3
>not only is battlelog fucked on 3 but im in oceania so servers are non existent anyways
>telling anyone cope when DICE has abused you as a consumer for well over 5 years at this point
whatever helps you sleep at night
Bf4 has no hackers period, lol
Rented servers prevent all the filth from staying longer than 10 seconds
Meanwhile playing bf1 and V is fucking impossible
